TLB demands administrative simplification and welcomes Bruno Velghe as chairman

Must read

Transport and Logistics Belgium (TLB) sounds the alarm about the increasing administrative pressure for transport entrepreneurs.
Let entrepreneurs undertake, it sounds at TLB.

The organization argues for:

  • Automatic deletion of the traffic tax in Flanders, following the example of Wallonia. The load is automatically stopped there as soon as a number plate is submitted, which prevents errors, fines and administrative hassle.
  • Withdrawal of the new procedure at the FPS Mobility, whereby number plates may no longer be physically issued in post offices, but must be sent mandatory. This causes delays and extra costs.

In accordance with the rotation system among the three founding members (TLV, Febetra and UPTR), UPTR will take over the chairmanship and secretariat on 1 July. Bruno Velghe (UPTR) succeeds Rudy Maes (TLV).
