Temu and bpostgroup strengthen global logistics cooperation

Must read

Temu and bpostgroup have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to further expand their international logistics cooperation. The agreement was ratified in Brussels by Chris Peeters, CEO of bpostgroup, and Sun Qin, chairman of Temu.

Both companies want to expand their existing collaboration in Belgium and Canada and test new delivery models, including for heavier packages. Work is also underway on a wider network of collection and drop-off points to increase accessibility for consumers. In addition, Temu and bpostgroup develop integrated solutions for local-to-local and pan-European deliveries, with attention to scalability, quality and affordability.

The agreement should not only strengthen current markets, but also identify new regions for future cooperation. bpostgroup brings expertise in the field of logistics, transport and environmentally friendly, low-carbon solutions that Temu can integrate into its activities. According to James Edge, CEO Cross-border of bpostgroup, the combination of both networks enables efficient and sustainable solutions for a rapidly evolving e-commerce market.

Temu opened its marketplace for local sellers in Europe in 2024. The platform expects that local sellers and fulfillment will eventually represent 80% of European sales. The new partnership should help sellers grow and make products more accessible to a broad audience.
