Team Falken driver and defending champion Matan Rosenberg kicked off the 2025 GRIDLIFE Touring Cup season with a second-place overall finish at Carolina Motorsports Park. Driving his #484 C5 Chevrolet Corvette, Rosenberg drove on the Falken Azenis RT660+ tire.
Despite limited offseason testing, Rosenberg secured pole position in qualifying with a 1:41.865 lap time.
“With a fresh set of Azenis 660+ tires, I managed to qualify first. I knew that wouldn’t be easy to defend all weekend,” said Matan Rosenberg.
Strategic Setup Change Before the Shootout
Carolina’s tight, technical layout favored lighter vehicles. Rosenberg took a calculated risk—detuning the Corvette by 15 horsepower and removing 250 pounds. This adjustment helped him qualify fourth in the Shootout with a 1:43.285 lap.

Starting up front, Rosenberg made the most of his position and expertly held off the competition to win the final race with a 1:42.571. The Falken Azenis RT660+ tires provided the grip and control needed to secure the victory, he said. With all points tallied, Rosenberg finished second overall with 88 points.
“It was a great start to our season and a strong showing at one of the tracks that suits this car the least,” said Rosenberg. “We have a few changes to make before the next round, but we are looking forward to the year.”
