For Sumitomo Rubber Industries (SRI), 2025 has delivered several highlights. At the start of the year, it concluded a deal to acquire the trademark and rights to the Dunlop brand for four-wheel vehicles in Europe, North America and Oceania, and concluded this transaction in May. Since then, it has launched Dunlop businesses in the latter two regions. But at the same time, revenue and business profit were lower year-on-year during the nine months to 30 September.
