‘Significant player’ – Camso positions Ceat for stronger role in off-highway mobility segment

At the start of the month, Ceat Limited finalised its US$225 million acquisition of Camso’s off-highway construction equipment bias tyre and rubber track business from Michelin. Not only does this provide Ceat with a globally recognised brand and two manufacturing facilities, it also opens the door to original equipment manufacturers and premium distributors in the off-highway tyre sector. The Indian firm’s team recently shared details about their plans with Camso.
