Following yesterday’s news that Sailun is expanding its Cambodia tyre and rubber industry park, Tyres & Accessories sought further details from official sources and learnt more about the progress of the company’s Mexico, Indonesia, Egypt and Cambodia projects.
First off in Cambodia, having learnt from stock market filings that full land acquisition will be completed by the end of 2026, Tyres & Accessories understands that physical construction of phase 2 there will start in 2027. The same filings also referred to further tyre production projects in Indonesia, Mexico, and Egypt updates relating to each of which are below.
