RNR Tire Express is kicking off its annual back-to-school giveaways to support students and educators across the U.S. With school supply expenses up 9.4% from last year, according to Investopedia, RNR said it is stepping up to help. The company will distribute more than 9,600 backpacks filled with essential supplies through its 11th backpack giveaway.
RNR Tire Express Backpack Giveaways Reach New Milestone
This year’s backpack drive involves 27 franchise groups and over 175 stores, meaning RNR has given more than 30,000 backpacks donated since the program began. Backpacks will be available from July 28 through Aug. 9 at participating RNR Tire Express locations, while supplies last.
Select stores will also offer back-to-school deals, free tire safety checks, and host “Back to School Bash” events.
“We believe every child deserves to start the school year with the proper tools to set them up for success. We’re investing in futures, supporting our communities, and showing up for one another in the ways that truly matter,” said Adam Sutton, CEO of RNR Tire Express.
Teacher Giveaway Helps Classrooms Nationwide
The teacher giveaway, now in its fifth year, invites community members to nominate outstanding local educators. RNR said it will select one teacher and purchase everything on their Amazon classroom wish list. That often includes learning tools, supplies, and other critical resources.
“Teachers often dig into their own pockets to make sure their students have what they need,” added Sutton. “The annual teacher supply giveaway is our way of saying ‘thank you.’”
