36% of employers in the transport and logistics sector expect to recruit additional staff by the end of December, 11% provide a decrease and 42% do not expect any changes. This is evident from the new barometer research from ManpowerGroup for the fourth quarter of 2025.
After seasonal correction, the net employment forecast is +25%. That is 18 points higher than in the third quarter, but 21 points lower than in the same period last year. The Transport and Logistics sector performs with +24% better than the national average.
“Employers in transport and logistics show resilience in an economically uncertain context and combine stability with flexibility, including through solutions with temporary workers,” explains Sébastien Delfosse, Managing Director of ManpowerGroup Belux.
