Pirelli’s Cyber Tyre has been named Vehicle-to-Everything (V2X) Innovation of the Year at the 2025 AutoTech Breakthrough Awards, a recognition by the Tech Breakthrough platform that celebrates innovation in automotive technology. This marks a significant achievement for Pirelli, as the Cyber Tyre is the world’s first intelligent tyre system capable of gathering data directly from the tyre itself, analysing it with proprietary algorithms, and relaying it in real-time to a vehicle’s electronics. Calling the Cyber Tyre a “key technology for the future of smart mobility,” AutoTech Breakthrough wrote: “By integrating intelligence directly into the tyre, Pirelli Cyber Tyre makes transport systems safer, as well as sustainable and data-driven”, writes AutoTech Breakthrough
