As usual, we launched the new Truck & Business magabook during a networking and knowledge event for the transport sector.
About 100 participants listened with fascination to the economic forecasts of Philippe Ledent, Chief Economist of ING, for 2026 in LogiVille in Niel. He also showed that the economic situation this year was actually a lot better than you would expect based on current events and some news reports.
Claude Yvens, editor-in-chief of Transportmedia, announced the results of the Truck & Business Barometer and a ranking of the largest Belgian international fleets, and Serge Gregoir (Eutraco) and Benny Smets (Ninatrans) discussed how their companies are responding to innovation, digitalization and electrification. Also appreciated: the intervention of Guy Giroulle, director of the Institute for Road Transport & Logistics Belgium (ITLB), on the challenges of the sector.
Transport and logistics journalist Philippe Van Dooren, who is retiring as editor-in-chief of Logistics Management, was honored with his own cover during the official part.
