Philippe Muysewinkel gets Volvo FH16 as a ‘career-browner’

Must read

Nebim has delivered a very special Volvo FH16 to Transport Philippe Muysewinkel from Lebbeke: he is not only equipped with the ‘large’ engine of 780 hp and nine different suppliers were needed to tailor it, but it is mainly the story behind it that makes him so special.

Philippe Muysewinkel has been working in the transport sector for more than 30 years. In 2011 he founded his current company that has 12 vehicles and is active in various transport niches, including machine transport, transport with cargoing truck and crane work from low loaders. “After having worked day and night, during the weekend and even on public holidays, my father recently told me:” One more truck and then my work is done here. ” I immediately understood that it was time to do something special to mark the end of his career, “explains his son Stijn Muysewinkel.

So far, Philippe Muysewinkel had satisfied with classic trucks. “The strict minimum was always enough for him, while he ensured that his staff always got more,” Stijn testifies. He contacted Reginald Malfoot, director of the Nebim group in Belgium, and it was not long before the order for a Volvo FH16 780 6 × 2, approved for 48 tons, was signed. But of course this truck also had to be decorated and personalized for the ‘boss’. No fewer than nine suppliers were needed to achieve the result desired by Stijn Muysewinkel: AW designs for the design, JDL Works for the version, MW designs and bodywork De Vos for the Lak, Lemmens projects for the interior, SolarGuard and Go-in-Steryle for the accessories and finally.

One thing is certain: Philippe Muysewinkel will close his beautiful career in a truck that will not go unnoticed!
