The French company Noxem Group, a wholesaler specializing in flat glass, has entered into a partnership with two Belgian companies to launch an innovative delivery service for glass workers, window manufacturers and other construction companies. The central point of this service is a warehouse in Brussels.
“Our customers face a logistical challenge that is often difficult to solve: access competitive flat glass prices while benefiting from rapid product availability. However, the most advantageous tariff conditions are usually based on bulk purchases, imported directly and delivered in full containers, which entail delivery times of several weeks and significant storage constraints. For small and medium-sized companies, this model is difficult to implement. Their storage capacity is limited, the teams are not always equipped to unload full containers and commercial visibility rarely extends beyond two weeks, while import channels usually involve a lead time of six to eight weeks,” explains François Prevost, Marketing and Commercial Director of Noxem Group.
Noxem Group wants to solve this dilemma by presenting itself as an intermediary: at the beginning of May 2026, it will launch a storage and delivery service with a delivery time of D+3 in France and Belgium, using a logistics space in Brussels. “The big difference with the logistics chains is that our Brussels logistics partner has the flat glass delivered from all over the world in wooden boxes, stores it and prepares the orders for all our customers. And it is a Belgian transporter, also specialized in flat glass, who takes care of the final delivery on trestles and no longer in large wooden boxes. With this service we initially cover Belgium and the whole of Northern France, but we also have customers further south who are willing to pay for this service. The concept therefore guarantees good growth,” continues François Prevost.
