New research compares post-pyrolysis outputs of different mining tyres

Must read

On 6 August 2025, research entitled “Composition analysis of ultrapyrolytic recycled products from various brands of ultra-heavy mining truck waste tires” was released in the journal “Scientific Reports”, published by Springer Nature. The paper was authored by Mohammadreza Sharifian, Ali Farhadian and Hamid Almasiyeh of the Smart Mining Research Center (SMRC) within Isfahan University of Technology, Isfahan, Iran; as well as Seyed Hadi Hoseinie of both SMRC and the Department of Mining Engineering, Isfahan University of Technology. However, while the authors are based in Iran and cite Iran-based examples of how their research can be implemented in real-world cases, the data generated as well as their conclusions have much wider applications.
