The new MyMack app gives drivers remote access to their vehicles, allowing them to monitor critical information and control select functions directly from their smartphones.
Mack Trucks has announced the launch of a brand-new app called MyMack. According to the OEM, MyMack is a driver application that enhances the connected vehicle experience for its all-new Mack Pioneer highway model truck.
The new app is available for download from the Apple Store and Google Play.
According to Mack, the app gives drivers remote access to their vehicles, allowing them to monitor critical information and control select functions directly from their smartphones.
A New App for a New Truck
According to Mack, the Pioneer, unveiled April 8, represents the future of Mack’s highway offerings with its aerodynamic design and industry-first features.
Mack engineers built the Pioneer from the ground up with a focus on driver comfort and operational efficiency.
The Pioneer features an aggressive windshield angle, streamlined chassis design, and an optional innovative digital mirror system that replaces traditional mirrors with cameras, improving both visibility and fuel efficiency.
“The Pioneer was designed with the driver experience as a top priority, offering features like our exclusive premium seating system with armrests on both sides, a flat-bottom steering wheel and a customizable switch layout,” said Jonathan Randall, president of Mack Trucks North America. “The MyMack app extends this driver-centric philosophy beyond the cab, giving drivers unprecedented control and information access even when they’re away from their truck.”
Through MyMack, drivers can remotely monitor their truck’s fuel level, Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) level, oil level and check the status of vehicle lights. When equipped with the new Mack Integrated Parking Cooler, the app also enables remote climate control activation, allowing drivers to pre-condition their cab environment before starting their workday, adding driver comfort to its benefits.
A New Way to Interact with Trucks
“The MyMack app represents a significant advancement in how drivers interact with their vehicles,” said Patrick Brown, director of strategy, Mack Trucks. “By putting vital truck information and controls literally in the palm of their hands, we’re helping drivers get the job done more efficiently and safely, while improving their overall experience.”
The MyMack app is part of Mack’s Integrated Uptime bundle, a comprehensive connected vehicle offer, making the Pioneer the most connected Mack Truck to date.
Mack Connect, Macks proprietary fleet management and analytics portal comes standard with the new Mack Pioneer and combines real-time vehicle tracking, performance analytics, and driver support features into a single, integrated solution that maximizes fleet efficiency and uptime.
The MyMack app and Mack Connect portal come with a five-year introductory offer bundled with Mack Integrated Uptime, representing Mack’s most advanced connected vehicle offering to date.
Built for Mack Customers
“Mack Connect is built for Mack customers to provide them with more detailed information than they can get elsewhere,” Brown said. “We’re enabling fleet managers to make data-driven decisions that streamline their operations, while maintaining our commitment to maximizing uptime.”
The Mack Connect portal serves as a single source for vehicle location tracking, performance data, operational analytics and diagnostics.
Fleet managers can monitor vehicle location and speed history, while accessing detailed performance metrics, including cruise control usage and idle time. The system also enables analysis of individual fuel efficiency and comparison across drivers and trucks, supporting more efficient route planning.
Safety monitoring is another key feature of Mack Connect, providing fleet managers with detailed information about roll stability interventions, hard braking events and driver seatbelt usage. This data supports practical driver coaching by using real examples and focusing on specific areas for improvement.
The portal gives customers direct access to integrated uptime information. They can view detailed GuardDog Connect diagnostics, including repair instructions, and manage over-the-air software updates and parameter settings to simplify maintenance and customization.
Mack’s uptime support—powered by Mack OneCall in Greensboro, North Carolina—continues to deliver 24/7 assistance.
Now, the OEM said, with even more information at their fingertips, customers can keep their trucks on the road longer and running more efficiently.
