Milwaukee Tool has introduced the next generation of Milwaukee M12 Fuel ratchets, designed for underhood, undercarriage and interior service applications. Available in 1/4-, 3/8- and 1/2-inch drives, these cordless ratchets target automotive, MEP and industrial work, including everyday tire maintenance and repair tasks.
Milwaukee said the tools are powered by its Powerstate brushless outer-rotor motor. It comes in sizes:
- 1/4-inch model: 550 rpm and up to 45 ft-lb of torque;
- 3/8-inch model: 400 rpm and up to 70 ft-lb of torque;
- 1/2-inch model: 300 rpm and up to 80 ft-lb of torque.
The ratchets feature a compact head and body profile with a bare-tool weight of just 1.5–1.7 pounds, Milwaukee said.
According to Milwaukee, the ergonomic, contoured grip reduces fatigue during extended use, while a modular trigger cap kit gives users the choice between button or paddle triggers. Each ratchet includes both trigger caps, and an optional five-cap modular trigger kit is available separately.
Each model includes a targeted LED work light, a battery isolation system, and a raised forward/reverse shuttle. Protective boots are available to shield tools and work surfaces, and low-profile anvil assemblies improve access to tight spaces, Milwaukee said.
The new ratchets join Milwaukee’s M12 Cordless System, which now includes over 150 tools. Every M12 Fuel product features the brand’s Powerstate brushless motor, Redlithium battery packs, and Redlink Plus intelligence hardware and software for consistent power delivery and thermal protection.
