Milwaukee Tool Introduces M12 Auto Shop Borescope with Wi-Fi File Sharing

Must read

Milwaukee Tool introduced the new M12 Auto Shop Borescope with Wi-Fi File Sharing. Milwaukee said the M12 Auto Shop Borescope streamlines inspections and repair approvals by eliminating delays common in traditional workflows. With built-in Wi-Fi file sharing, technicians can capture, share, and communicate diagnostic findings.

Milwaukee said this new borescope allows users to instantly share inspection results. When connected to the shop’s Wi-Fi, technicians can email photos or videos directly from the tool.

According to Milwaukee, the M12 Auto Shop Borescope features a high-definition display with an anti-glare coating. The 5.5-inch touchscreen supports pinch-to-zoom, image rotation, and quick editing of photos and videos. Technicians can annotate findings, add audio or text notes, and trim video clips.

The borescope’s 5-mm camera head provides access for inspecting glow plug holes, injector ports, and other confined areas. Dual front and side view cameras ensure complete visibility, while a 5-foot flexible cable balances maneuverability and memory for complex engine layouts.

Equipped with HEAT SENSE Temperature Alert technology, the tool warns users when the engine is too hot to inspect. It will automatically shut down to prevent cable damage, Milwaukee said.

The M12 Auto Shop Borescope joins the M12 Cordless System, a sub-compact lineup with over 150 compatible solutions.
