The Milence network uses the Solutrans fair to announce a new expansion of its network, but also a new tariff structure adapted to each market.
Today, Milence operates 30 charging stations along major transport routes in eight countries (France, Spain, Belgium, Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark, Italy, the United Kingdom and Sweden). Some of these stations are already equipped with MCS chargers that (if the truck is suitable for this) can be charged with a capacity of 1 megawatt. This is already the case in Antwerp, Zwolle at the Scania factory and Landvetter at the Volvo Trucks factory in Sweden.
The most important news, however, is the new rate structure. Until now, people paid the same price in every country. From now on, prices will vary from country to country depending on local differences in energy costs, taxes and network costs. The cheapest countries are France and Spain, where the basic rate is €0.339/kWh (excluding VAT). Belgium follows with EUR 0.379/km, slightly less than in Germany, the Netherlands and Italy, where a kWh costs EUR 0.399. This new rate structure will come into effect on January 1, 2026.
