Vehicle safety and fleet accounting tech provider Fleetworthy has acquired Commercelogic, a provider of predictive tolling and GPS-powered analytics, the firms said.
According to Albany, New York-based Fleetworthy, the move will integrate Commercelogic’s technology into the “Bestpass by Fleetworthy” platform, thus allowing fleets to better manage costs through near real-time toll visibility, discrepancy detection, automated reconciliation, and dynamic route optimization.
Lehi, Utah-based Commercelogic says its flagship product, tollogic, provides fleets with the data and insights to optimize tolling spend, avoid violations, and ease tollings’ administrative burden.
“This acquisition continues our commitment to offering the most advanced toll analytics to fleet operators,” Shay Demmons, Chief Product Officer of Fleetworthy, said in a release. “By integrating commercelogic’s predictive tolling and AI capabilities, we will empower fleets with near real-time toll visibility, automated reconciliation processes, and the ability to optimize routes and costs in ways that were previously not possible.”
Terms of the deal were not disclosed. But the move marked Fleetworthy’s second acquisition in a month, following its June purchase of San Francisco-based Haul, a vendor of AI-powered compliance and safety automation technology.
