Maxam Tire announced the addition of the 40.5/75R39 size to its MS303 portfolio for scraper applications. The size targets larger earthmoving fleets seeking a scraper tire option designed for ride quality and stability at higher transport speeds, Maxam said.
Tire Construction and Tread Features
The MS303 pairs a robust casing with an aggressive E3 tread. A fortified shoulder and sidewall help guard against cuts and impacts for wear resistance, Maxam said. The tire also integrates a bead design that improves durability and increases machine stability under maximum load.
These features are intended to support traction and consistent handling across varying ground conditions, Maxam said.
“Contractors and quarry operators run on uptime. The new MS303 40.5/75R39 delivers traction, durability, superior ride quality and control they demand on the toughest jobs,” said Jimmy McDonnell, VP of sales and marketing at Maxam Tire. “Our customers can move more material with fewer interruptions and a lower total cost of operations.”
Range Positioning
The MS303 40.5/75R39 complements Maxam’s scraper range for variable terrain and high-impact environments. According to the company, the design supports productivity on the job site.
