The digital fleet management service Perform from MAN Truck & Bus will have an assistant supported by AI. The assistant can provide customized performance analysis and recommendations for fleet managers.
The new Digital Fleet Assistant ensures up to three times faster and more targeted evaluation of vehicle usage data. It evaluates a wide range of data, including driving behavior, fuel consumption, use of driver assistance systems and technical information such as idle time and wear. That data is linked to a continuously updated knowledge base that includes training materials, technical manuals and practical experience. The fleet manager receives the desired evaluations directly in the chat, including tailor-made recommendations, such as tips for driving more economically.
The new chat function also allows fleet managers to express their needs in everyday language. To questions such as “Which drivers have room for improvement?” or “What recommendations can I give to drivers?” gives the AI immediately understandable evaluations and concrete recommendations that can be passed on directly to the drivers.
