Magna Tyres celebrates its 20th anniversary on 23 March 2026, marking two decades of growth and international expansion in the off‑the‑road (OTR) and industrial tyre market. The Dutch manufacturer, which began as a small entrepreneurial venture, has evolved into a global supplier whose products are now used in more than 130 countries.
The company was founded as a response to rising demand for reliable OTR tyres, developing into a fast-growing international brand. The company has since established its products across sectors including mining, construction, ports, terminals, recycling and agriculture; areas where durable, high‑performance tyres are critical.
Headquartered in Waalwijk, Magna Tyres draws on expertise in rubber compounds and tyre engineering to serve customers operating in some of the world’s most demanding environments. Its product range is supported by a growing global network of offices, distributors and strategic partners.
Despite its rapid expansion, the company remains family‑owned, a characteristic it says has helped sustain long‑term relationships with customers and distributors. Over the past two decades, Magna Tyres has broadened its footprint through new international offices, increased production capacity and a series of targeted acquisitions.
Chief executive Michael de Ruijter described the anniversary as both a milestone and a starting point for the next phase of growth. “This anniversary not only marks 20 years of growth, but also the next phase,” he said. “We will continue to invest in innovation, capacity and our global network to further strengthen our market position and serve customers worldwide at the highest level.”
The company also expressed its appreciation to its customers, partners and employees, crediting them as central contributors to its success over the past twenty years.
