On 16 September, Shandong Linglong Tire Co. Ltd, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Kenyan authorities to establish a US$800 million factory within the country. The agreement signed between Linglong’s Feng Wang and Lee Kinyanjui, Cabinet Secretary for Kenya’s Ministry of Investments, Trade and Industry, will result in the building of a plant within the Mombasa Special Economic Zone in Mariakani, Kilifi County.
