Only a handful of tyre makers possess the means of producing 63-inch mining tyres, and Linglong Tire reports having joined this exclusive club. On 18 October, its Changchun plant in Jilin Province produced the first Linglong-branded 59/80R63 tyre. Local officials were present to attend the roll-off ceremony.
