Landing place near Noord Natie reinforces drone network in the port of Antwerp

Must read

ADLC has further expanded its drone survey network in the port of Antwerp-Brugge with a fourth landing site at Noord Natie Odfjell Antwerp Terminal. This Terminal joins a growing group of users, including SGS, BASF and Vopak, who use drones to accelerate and make logistical processes more sustainable.

The drones from ADLC have been transporting freight to 15 kg during BVLOS flights (Beyond Visual Line of Sight) since 2024. The test and demonstration phases are over, the company is now actively building a robust and efficient system for cargo deliveries, with plans to expand the network in the coming months to at least eight landing points.

Thanks to the new landing site, steel samples can be sent quickly and sustainably to laboratories from North Nation, which considerably shortens the analysis time and contributes to a smoother handling of port activities.
