Kumho Tire U.S.A. Renews Community Service Efforts in Atlanta

Must read

Kumho Tire U.S.A. has renewed its commitment to the Greater Atlanta area, the home of its U.S. headquarters since 2016. As part of this Kumho Tire community impact initiative, employees volunteered at the Dunwoody Nature Center’s “Second Saturday” program and joined the Million Meal Pack at State Farm Arena.

“Kumho is giving back to the community where we live and work. We are honored to partner with local organizations like the Atlanta Hawks on impactful initiatives that positively contribute to the community,” said Ed Cho, CEO of Kumho Tire U.S.A. “We will continue our renewed focus on public service and community involvement into 2026.”

In late summer, Kumho launched its first external volunteer project in Georgia. A team of employees joined the Dunwoody Nature Center’s monthly “Second Saturday” program to help preserve and enhance the local environment. Working alongside community members, volunteers cleared overgrown paths, removed invasive plants, and improved natural spaces.

This project reinforced the growing Kumho Tire community impact focus on environmental stewardship and neighborhood support, it said.

Kumho Tire also participated in the Atlanta Hawks and State Farm Million Meal Pack initiative on Sept. 27. The annual event, one of the region’s largest volunteer gatherings, aims to fight food insecurity in Metro Atlanta. Kumho employees joined hundreds of volunteers to assemble more than one million meals in a single day.

Kumho plans additional public service and community engagement efforts through the remainder of 2025 and into 2026.
