Kumho Tire U.S.A. introduced the all-new Road Venture RT. It said this rugged-terrain tire bridges the gap between the all-terrain and mud-terrain segments. According to Kumho, the Road Venture RT combines strong traction and enhanced off-road durability with on-road comfort. The tire also comes with a 50,000-mile tread wear warranty.
Features of the Kumho Road Venture RT
The tire delivers performance in any condition, and can handle the tough demands of gravel, mud, sand, rain and more, Kumho said. Additionally, the company said the tire’s aggressive design and advanced technology makes it tough yet comfortable.

Kumho said the tire provides the following:
- Off-road performance with a rugged and aggressive side biter design. Kumho said the tire has wave shoulder groove under blocks for stone ejecting. A spider web design provides tire casing protection.
- A quiet and comfortable on-road drive with interlocking center blocks with enhanced rigidity that ensures improved straight driving capability, varied pitches application to reduce pattern and road noise, and an outstanding damping rate.
- Performance in the rain from its highly dispersible micro silica compound and optimized groove pattern that improves water drainage.
- Longer tread life provided by Kumho’s proprietary compound using multi-functionalized S-SBR and carbon black. Kumho said that provides enhanced wear & chipping resistance, combined with a uniform footprint shape.
The Road Venture RT tire will launch in September with 27 initial sizes ranging from 17- to 22 in. Kumho said additional sizes will be added in 2026. It comes with a road hazard warranty and 30-day satisfaction guaranteed trial warranty.
