Advanced simulation company Ansible Motin and Kumho Tire have signed a partnership agreement to develop next-generation digital tyres. The collaboration will see the companies use simulation to enhance the tyre performance verification system. Kumho will introduce driving simulators into its research and development process to increase efficiency. Simulators can reduce the costs associated with real vehicle testing and prototype production and increase the precision of performance verification in early development. Kumho wants to use the technology to strengthen is competitiveness in the development of tyres for electric vehicles (EVs) and high-performance vehicles.
