The electric forklift jungheinrich EFG 425 has been named ‘counterweightlift hift of the year’ during the IFOY Awards 2025. The award ceremony took place in July at Phoenix des Lumières in Dortmund.
The EFG 425 is distinguished by a powerful twin-engine drive, an impressive processing capacity up to 389 pallets per shift and an excellent 360 ° view thanks to the glass roof and the slender mast. The forklift truck is suitable for intensive indoor and outdoor applications and can be used without problems thanks to the optional lithium ion battery in multi-shifts without a battery change.
Jungheinrich provides the vehicle with ergonomic improvements such as more legroom, lower vibration levels and the ‘Floating Cab’ system, which considerably increases comfort for the driver. In addition, the model is designed for use with heavy attachment equipment. The new hydraulic block increases the oil flow by 33%, which ensures a powerful and accurate operation, even under heavy load.
The IFOY Awards recognize the most innovative and efficient solutions within intralogistics every year. This year, 21 products from 15 suppliers were nominated.
