Jungheinrich Belgium started a collaboration with logistics service provider SLS in October last year to further professionalize its service organization. With the new partnership, the internal transport specialist wants to increase the availability of parts and support customers even faster and more reliably.
Night logistics are central to the collaboration. Parts ordered during the day will leave the same evening from Jungheinrich’s central warehouse in Kaltenkirchen (Germany). They are sorted and delivered via SLS’s overnight distribution network, straight to the service vehicles of the Jungheinrich service technicians. This way, repairs can be carried out faster and downtime for customers is limited.
Jungheinrich and SLS share a strong focus on quality, reliability and professionalism, both companies say.
