A sixth Continental tyre factory has gained International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) PLUS sustainability credentials, with the plant in Otrokovice, Czech Republic joining previously certified facilities in China, France, Germany, Portugal and Slovakia as a site meeting specific requirements for using renewable and recycled raw materials. With ISCC PLUS certification for Otrokovice, Continental can verify the traceability of the raw materials used in the production process, making it easier to confirm its procurement of these from renewable and recycled sources.
