India’s Automotive Tyre Manufacturers Association (ATMA) reports that the country’s tyre industry showed “resilience in export performance” during the 2024-25 financial year, which ended on 31 March 2025. The association bases this assertion on Ministry of Commerce and Industry data that shows tyre exports from India increasing nine per cent year-on-year, to Rs 250.51 billion (£2.16 billion / US$2.89 billion).
