The road transport sector is at a tipping point. Not only the economic pressure that is accompanied by a considerable number of bankruptcies, but also the energy transition towards sustainable transport, ensure that a transport company in 2025 needs a different policy than roughly 20 years ago. ITLB is convinced that providing good training and publishing practical economic analyzes are the key to guide transporters in a successful future.
Stafflin training for strong starters
Running a transport company requires more than just driving experience. A transport manager must be an all -round entrepreneur, with insight into accounting, regulations, technology and market forces. ITLB ensures that candidates for obtaining the professional competence certificate not only get the required base, but are also prepared for the challenges of tomorrow. With a rejuvenated and motivated teachers’ team and updated manuals, we increase the chances of success of starters, and we hope to stop the increasing number of bankruptcies.
From numbers to insight
Our study service supports transporters with reliable cost price indices. Both for large and small companies, these are indispensable for a responsible pricing and contract negotiations. Nevertheless, we notice that many are still struggling with the correct application. That is why we are going to focus more on practical support and clear tools that must facilitate the use of the cost price indices. At the same time, we are preparing for the future: we will also map the cost price revolution of electric trucks. In a world where the share of e-trucks will only increase, it is important to publish figures as accurate as possible.
ITLB as a service provider and knowledge partner
Already 58% of the applications for obtaining a driver’s card is online via www.digitach.be. ITLB strives to increase this figure further and thus contribute to the reduction of administrative burdens.
Our mission is clear: supporting transporters in the exercise of their profession by the studies conducted, information and training. Whether it concerns training, advice or economic insights, ITLB will continue to invest in the future of the transport of goods by road.
