HGVC rebrands as ‘Insite’ – FleetPoint

Must read

Insite is the result of growing demand from businesses for a solution to the logistical headache of managing large-scale training. As increasingly complex supply chains magnify the challenge of coordinating training across multiple locations, businesses risk periods of inactivity that affect productivity and lead to financial losses. Insite helps clients get in front of their skills gap and meet training needs before they impact the business.

Built on the foundation of more than 12 years’ experience providing training to companies including Scottish Power, Capita and Amazon, Insite is led by the same expert team that established a leading HGV driver training firm, becoming the largest provider of HGV Skills Bootcamp for businesses.

With more than 400 training centres nationwide, Insite will continue to deliver its industry leading, end-to-end licence acquisition service. It currently supports more than 1,000 businesses, managing the entire HGV and commercial licence acquisition process – from eligibility checks to test booking, medicals, theory support, and practical training.

Insite provides fully managed training across three main sectors:

  • HGV training: Insite’s HGV driver training programmes help businesses increase capacity, retain staff and reduce training costs. Insite also offers training on the Amazon Career Choice programme tailored training for Amazon employees considering a career as an HGV driver.
  • Warehouse training: including Forklift Driver Training; Introduction to Warehousing; and First Aid courses.
  • Construction training: Insite offers CPCS & NPORS accredited plant training to ensure safe and effective operations on all construction sites.

Insite will also continue to offer high quality PCV Cat D and D1 training courses for bus and coach companies across the UK.

To support its expanded training offering, Insite utilises technology solutions that simplify compliance and streamline communication. These include its recently launched Insite Learner App, which has transformed the training process for HGV drivers by providing all learners with course details, booking reminders, e-learning materials, and live support; and the Insite Client Portal, which enables firms track their team’s training in one place, giving them full visibility and control with real-time reporting on bookings, progress, pass rates, and certification.

Commenting on the launch of Insite, James Clifford, CEO, said: “We are really excited to be able to introduce Insite, which brings together everything we know about HGV, construction and logistics training under one roof.

“We have been providing training to businesses for more than 12 years. It has become increasingly clear that firms need more support to help them manage the logistical challenges of their large-scale, often complex training needs. Our experience means that we can help firms identify their training needs before they impact the business.

“By providing centralised coordination of all courses, and managing training across multiple locations, we offer a single point of contact for clients – taking full ownership of the entire process, and acting as an extension of their team. This provides businesses with the confidence that they are in full compliance with all essential workforce training. It also significantly minimises downtime, saving them time and money.

“To heads of fleet and operations, transport, L&D and HR managers, Insite finally offers a training partner which allows them to focus on what they do best.”

James Fuller, Customer Operations at Amazon, said: “HGVC have become our preferred training provider and we wouldn’t recommend anyone else. Their managed service is second to none and they always go out of their way to please us.”
