Heylen Warehouses buys the former Recor site in Genk

Must read

Heylen Warehouses has purchased the former Recor Bedding site in Genk. This is an industrial site of approximately 55,000 m² in a strategically visible location at the intersection of the Zuiderring and Westerring, with an easy connection to the E314 and E313.

The site currently houses a logistics building of 22,000 m², divided into several halls. These can be rented flexibly from 2,800 m² to 20,000 m² and suitable for various activities, such as logistics, production and assembly.

In the long term, Heylen Warehouses plans to redevelop the site into a modern semi-industrial and logistics site of approximately 30,000 m². The project will consist of three units with a mezzanine, office space and a clear height of 13.7 meters. The building permit is expected by the end of this year.

The transaction was completed with the guidance of Ceusters Vastgoed and CBRE in a co-exclusive mandate. The seller is the former Belgian mattress and bed manufacturer Recor Bedding.
