GXO Logistics Launches Enhanced Fulfilment Service for Midsize Companies

Must read

Contract logistics provider GXO Logistics today said it has launched an enhanced offering for growing midsize companies in the U.S., created by unifying the services platform it acquired through its acquisition of PFSweb (PFS) with GXO Direct, its multi-tenant warehousing solution.

Greenwich, Connecticut-based GXO acquired PFS in 2023 for $181 million, saying the move to buy the Texas-based third party logistics provider (3PL) added expertise in direct-to-consumer e-commerce fulfilment for premium brands. It has now merged that platform with GXO Direct, its own fulfilment platform for growing brands.

According to the company, the enhanced GXO Direct U.S. product offers: direct to consumer fulfilment; multi-tenant warehousing; business-to-business and retail; short-term storage & distribution; value-added services; transportation; and commerce services.

“One of the biggest challenges businesses face as they grow is finding a partner that can address their needs across the entire logistics value chain,” Jorge Guanter, President of Americas and Asia Pacific for GXO, said in a release. “With our expertise, scale and breadth of services, we believe there is meaningful opportunity to be the go-to, long-term partner for high growth, mid-size brands today and their dedicated, enterprise solutions provider as they scale and grow.”
