GSF Car Parts is encouraging independent garages to take advantage of rising demand for air suspension repairs, driven by an ageing UK car parc – now averaging 9.5 years – and the growing number of electric vehicles entering routine MOT cycles. With motorists keeping their cars longer due to cost‑of‑living pressures and improved vehicle reliability, workshops are seeing increased wear on suspension systems. Heavier EVs further accelerate chassis component stress, creating sustained, high‑value opportunities for garages with the right expertise.
Air suspension has traditionally been a niche area, with many garages relying solely on expensive OEM components. To address this, GSF offers Amtex, the UK’s largest aftermarket air suspension range, featuring over 400 OE‑tested parts including air springs, struts, compressors, sensors, valve blocks and adaptive shocks.
