For many, 2025 was a tough year. As we reported in the Autumn, third-party market data showed that sell-out demand was significantly hit, even depressed. To be specific, at the end of the third quarter the replacement car tyre market was down 9.3 per cent and, with all-season and the already-stretched winter tyre sub-segments stretched even further. Similarly, the less-than-16-inch rim diameter basket of car tyre products plummeted by 14.7 per cent. At the same time, import tariffs and logistics questions mean getting the right products at the right time is as tough as ever for distributors.
