Gosselin has acquired a majority participation in transport company The Agency, which from now on is fully integrated into the Gosselin Group. With this step, the logistics player mainly wants to further expand the Road division.
The current shareholders of The Agency, Bart and Niels, remain on board as a minority shareholders and retain an active role in daily management and strategic choices. In this way the continuity of The Agency remains insured and the company can continue to grow together with Gosselin.
“Thanks to integration, The Agency gains access to the international network and infrastructure of Gosselin, while Gosselin strengthens its road activities with the expertise of The Agency,” explains co-owner and director Dirk Vanhoutteghem (photo). The collaboration will be concrete from October, when The Agency moves to the offices of Gosselin.
“With this step we bundle our joint strengths to strengthen our position in the market and to realize new growth opportunities, without the identity of The Agency being lost.”
