Gosselin Group has announced the full acquisition of Delcatrans Group. The international logistics service provider from Antwerp acquires 100% of the shares.
The acquisition reinforces Gosselins presence in West Flanders and northern France. In addition, multimodality is focused on, with the expansion of the use of inland shipping via the Inland Terminal in Wielsbeke (RTW) and the track via LAR (Rekkem).
Delcatrans has more than 44 years of experience in transport and warehousing, with a fleet of 110 trucks, 200 chassis and more than 15,000 m² of storage space. The company connects the Kortrijk-Rijsel-Doornik-Paris region with the large seaports through synchromodal solutions.
“This acquisition fits perfectly within our ambition to offer customers a total solution for all their logistics needs,” Gosselin owners emphasize Marc Smet and Dirk Vanhoutteghem (photo). “The integration offers new opportunities for our employees and a reinforced offer for our customers,” complement Kristof and Dieter Delbeeke from Delcatrans.
