The Lithuanian carrier Girteka Logistics is no stranger in concluding large framework contracts if he wants to renew his fleet. This time Volvo Trucks won the assignment and it can deliver 2000 vehicles.
The fleet of Girteka is no longer as large as two years ago: today it has 6000 trucks and 7000 trailers, which amounts to a decrease of more than 30 % compared to 2023. However, the Lithuanian carrier still has the largest fleet in Europe. Volvo Trucks will therefore deliver 2000 FHs and FH Aeros in the course of 2025. The agreement is accompanied by financing by Volvo Financial Services and Volvo Blue service contracts.
