During the general statutory meeting of 24 June 2025, VIL (Flanders, Innovation and Logistics) appointed a renewed administrative body. Several sitting drivers were re -elected for a new four -year term, while two new representatives were also included in the board.
The following representatives were confirmed in their function:
- Yves de Larivière (AET)
- Dirk Leemans (Colruyt Group)
- Danny van Himste (DHL International)
- Filip De Clercq (Gilbert De Clercq)
- Tim Leysen (Cotton Natie)
- Kurt van Donink (Nike Elc)
- Nico Bogaerts (Pfizer)
- Wim Baert (Samsonite Europe)
The council also welcomes two new members:
- Evelien Thienpondt, site manager at Barry Callebaut Group
- Bob Van Steenweghen, Senior Manager Corporate Affairs at H.essers
In addition, the extension of the mandates of the strategic partners Imec, Flanders Make, Vito and Vlir was officially approved. The representation of these partners includes Jan Adriaenssens (IMEC), Marc Engels (Flanders Make), Peter Vercaemst (VITO) and Mark Juwet (VLIR).
