Frenkit Expands Brake Hardware Offerings to North American Market

Must read

Frenkit, a European brake hardware supplier, has expanded its North American brake hardware offerings. Frenkit says that it leads the European market in brake hardware and serves customers in over 70 countries. These customers include OEMs, aftermarket distributors, and caliper remanufacturers. Frenkit’s in-house quality teams test each part to confirm it meets or exceeds OEM standards, the company says.

The company now offers nearly 4,500 different brake hardware kits to U.S. customers, covering 95% of the North American aftermarket.

Frenkit manufactures its rubber components at facilities in Spain and India using proprietary rubber compounds. The company operates out of 200,000 sq. ft. of certified European manufacturing space. These facilities hold both IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 certifications.

To grow its brake hardware coverage, Frenkit says that it continues to reverse-engineer new kits from OE caliper and drum assemblies. This ensures OEM-level functionality and quality. Each year, Frenkit adds nearly 400 new applications to its catalog, the manufacturer says.
