Fraikin supplies first armored truck to Loomis in operational leasing

Must read

Fraikin Belgium has delivered the first of twelve armored trucks to values transporter Loomis in his Machelen location in Machelen. The vehicles are purchased through operational leasing. “For us, that is the most efficient solution both financially and operational,” says Ellen van Berlamont, Sales & Marketing Director at Loomis Belgium.

The delivery of the trucks is the result of a preparation process that started two years ago. “These are not standard vehicles,” emphasizes Joël van Vaerenbergh, commercial director of Fraikin Benelux. “Adjusting vehicles tailored to the customer is our core business. We guide every project from A to Z.”

Loomis was already a customer at Fraikin for the management of his fleet, but now opts for a more extensive partnership. “Fleet management requires a lot of time and follow -up. Thanks to this operational leasing, we are unburdened by fleet management,” says Christian Herpoel, CEO of Loomis Belgium. “We have a fixed point of contact at Fraikin, Mohammed Khadri, so we no longer have to turn to various service points.”

“Loomis is the first company within the Value Transport sector that makes the switch to operational leasing,” says Cyriel Vrijders, CEO Fraikin Benelux. He handed the key to the first man to Christian Herpoel, CEO of Loomis Belgium.

“With this renewal of the fleet, Loomis also opts for sustainability,” says Ellen van Berlamont. “These man-trucks meet the latest environmental standards. Thanks to operational leasing, we can modernize our fleet faster and reduce our ecological footprint, making us well positioned for future growth.”
