Ascenso Tires North America launched the FFB 841 and FFB 843 forestry forwarder tires. These new tires deliver high performance and reliability for heavy-duty logging operations, according to Ascenso.
“These new forestry forwarder tires are a direct response to the industry’s need for durable, high-performance products capable of handling extreme loads and rugged terrains,” said Nick Phillippi, Director – Product Management at Ascenso Tires North America. “The FFB 841 and FFB 843 set a new benchmark in traction, durability, and operational efficiency for forestry equipment.”
Features of the FFB 841
The FFB 841 uses inter-lug terraces to boost traction, improve lateral stability, and self-clean in muddy terrain. Its track-compatible design allows quick and secure installation. A center tie bar limits lug movement, helping extend tread life. Reinforced steel belts increase puncture resistance and enhance load capacity.
Ascenso said engineers strengthened the lug base to support torque transfer and minimize damage. The sidewall uses a stubble guard compound to fight punctures and abrasion. A reinforced bead area also makes mounting easier and prevents slippage under stress.
Design Benefits of the FFB 843
The FFB 843’s flotation tread boosts self-cleaning and traction on soft terrain, Ascenso said. Its strong nylon carcass ensures high load support. Center overlapping lugs improve road comfort and reduce wear. An optimized bead area protects against failure and eases mounting. The SSR (Stubble-Resistant) compound extends tire life.
