The first electric truck from Ford Trucks will be launched on the market in early 2026. Unveiled at Solutrans, the F-Line E is a truck with a 4×2 or 6×2 configuration.
The Ford F-Line E retains a classic kinematic line with an electric motor, a three-speed transmission (instead of four as with most competitors) and classic axles. The engine delivers a continuous power of 310 kW and a peak power of 390 kW, with a continuous torque of 1370 Nm and a peak torque of 2470 Nm. The regenerative braking power is 390 kW.
The model on display at Solutrans was a 6×2 truck with a wheelbase of 4750 mm. It has four NMC (nickel-manganese-cobalt) battery packs of 98 kW each, for a total of 392 kW. Ford Trucks claims a range of 300 kilometers for this model. The 4×2 version has only three battery packs and should offer a range of 250 kilometers. The charging capacity of these batteries is 285 kW.
