Smart supply chains on the rise: technology speeds up logistics transformation

The transformation of the logistics sector is central during ICT & Logistics and Logistica Next. New technologies such as AI, robotization and automation play a key role in this. For example, AI is increasingly being used for predictive analyzes, dynamic route planning and real -time decision -making. At the same time, mobile and collaborative robots improve flexibility and efficiency in warehouses and distribution centers. “Logistics is becoming smarter and more self -managing,” says Corien den Ouden, stock market manager of ICT & Logistics and Logistica Next. “These developments not only change processes, but also the cooperation within the chain. Organizations that invest in this are taking important steps towards a future -proof and agile Supply Chain.”

Innovation pressure forces acceleration

From this year, Logistica Next takes place annually with ICT & Logistics. That choice is inspired by a clear movement in the market: the need for regular encounters, knowledge sharing and view of the latest innovations is growing rapidly. Where previously a biennial rhythm met, the current development speed in intralogistics requires a different approach. Corien den Ouden: “The intralogistic sector is developing rapidly through innovations such as AI, robotics and data analysis. What was innovative yesterday was already overtaken again today. Through technological progress, a shortage on the labor market and rising customer expectations, the moment of the pace of the market that of the market is ready for that of the market that of the market that of the market Is. With a sold -out exhibition floor, the switch to an annual frequency is a clear response to market demand. “
