Long before gaining global recognition as a leading player in the mobile phone market, Nokia was well established as a centre for tyre manufacture. It still is, and Nokian Tyres is so proud of its Finnish heritage that it displays evidence of this on the sidewall of certain tyres. The latest models to gain the ‘Key Flag’ symbol from the Association for Finnish Work are the Nokian Tyres Hakka summer car tyre and Hakkapeliitta winter car tyre ranges.
