FB Logistics acquires Kangourou Delivery Service (KDS).

Must read

The FB Logistics group announces the acquisition of Kangourou Delivery Service, a company from Walloon Brabant that has been active in express transport and transport with truck-mounted forklifts for more than 35 years.

KDS was founded in 1989 by Erik Walry. The company is located in Glabais, near Genappe, and offers two types of transport services: on the one hand, an express and distribution service (with or without regular rounds) and on the other hand, various forms of special transport, the most important of which is transport and handling using truck-mounted forklifts. The express transport activity is one of the pillars of FB Logistics, which has entered this niche market by acquiring Number One in March 2024.

“At the time, FB Logistics mainly worked with semi-trailers, but we wanted to develop in transport with trucks. This combination allows us to achieve better margins for shipments up to 12 pallets. Another important aspect is parking: in our Vilvoorde/Machelen region, parking is becoming increasingly expensive, but with trucks it is slightly cheaper. By the way, we have just acquired a former Octa + site along the Schaarbeeklei purchased to solve the problem.”

The acquisition of KDS allows FB Logistics to strengthen its position in the express transport market and expand its service offering with transport with built-in forklift trucks. KDS’ twenty employees will become part of the FB Logistics group, but KDS’s logistics infrastructure will remain the property of Erik Walry.
