The Belgian-Luxembourg group Faymonville, European market leader in special vehicles for heavy and exceptional transport, acquires a majority stake in Morello, an Italian company specialized in self-driving solutions for intralogistics.
Morello designs and produces electric vehicles for the transport of heavy loads within industrial sites. The range starts with vehicles capable of carrying a payload of 5 tonnes and complements the Faymonville group’s range of autonomous vehicles. Until now, this range consisted of Cometto products such as the Eco500 and Eco1000, with a loading capacity of 500 or 1000 tons. With solutions with a loading capacity between 5 and 1000 tons, the Faymonville group covers a much wider range of needs in the fields of railway construction, steel production, energy, nuclear installations and defense.
