It is hard to dispute the European Union’s tireless dedication when it comes to introducing new legislation, with the bloc leaving no stone unturned in its quest to bring industry, business and individuals in line with its own aims. Admittedly, some stakeholders find keeping their heads above the regulatory waters an exhausting challenge. This may be why the European Tyre and Rubber Manufacturers’ Association (ETRMA) has published a set of proposals to simplify specific regulations, with the hope that Brussels will take these to heart.
